How old should my child be to play Eduka's World?

Eduka's World is targeted towards children ages 3-10. The variety of games with several difficulty levels and our fun and immersive story provide a great learning environment for younger and older children.

Can my child really learn English at such a young age?

Absolutely! The best scenario is for a child to learn their first foreign language before the age of 7. That is because the natural sensitivity for unknown sounds and therefore the accent-free learning of a foreign language is lost at about 7 years old. Studies show that the early learning of a foreign language is conducive to cognitive development and to the learning process of further languages.

What is special about Eduka's World?

Every mother and father knows: Learning works best when children are emotionally involved. Despite this, most learning apps for children work the same way: You jump from lesson to lesson with neither context nor a story behind them, let alone a hero with whom the child can identify and experience an adventure with.

That's why Eduka's World allows children to dive into a completely new and English speaking world with an engaging story and great characters. Even if your child doesn't understand every word, they can gather so much just from the context.

Is Eduka's World really free?

Yes! You can download the app and have your child play on Home Island, our very first island, completely for free. There are no time limits, no ads, no caveats.

If both you and your child like our app, you then have the option to get a subscription in order to access all other islands within Eduka's World that help your child learn English with a fun story and educational games.

How much content is in the free version?

Without an active subscription, your child can roam free on Home Island, our very first Island and play all our educational games on this island however often they want. It will already introduce your child to the English language and our fun characters that help your child to speak English.

How much does a subscription cost and what is included?

Pricing information will be available after Eduka's World launches on the App Store in October 2019.

A subscription will unlock all content within Eduka's World. This includes all our seperate story pieces in the form of additional islands. Each island is themed around important life lessons for your child. Each island also features a multitude of educational games that help your child speak English. This means that with a subscription, your child will have unlimited access to all story content and educational games that help them learn English.

Safety for your child

Are there any ads in Eduka's World?

No! There are no ads. No banners, no videos, absolutely nothing.

And that is true for both the free version and if you have a subscription. We absolutely never display any kind of ads.

Are there any in-app purchases in Eduka's World?

Besides the subscription, there are no additional in-app purchases. We also don't use any kind of in-game currency that your child could accidentally buy.

It is our highest priority that Eduka's World is a safe English learning environment for your child.

Is the content and story in Eduka's World appropriate for children?

Absolutely! Our content is educator approved and developed with scientific guidance. It is dear to our hearts to offer safe content for children in order to create a fun learning environment. All our art and music is child-friendly, as is our story.
